Global Exchange Costa Rica

GECR's Idependent Group Packages are for those who do not wish to travel through a pre-structured program, but instead wish to design the specifics of a trip with GECR for their own group.  GECR provides all the resources and connections that you need to design your own trip, and works closely with you to make all arrangements prior to your arrival in Costa Rica.  Groups decide the nature of their service work, what touristic activities they wish to participate in, and their travel dates.  Independent trips through GECR can be arranged for any length of time, year-round. Independent Group Packages are ideal for college students, church groups, friends, and families.  In addition, they are great opportunities to enable retreats for businesses, workplaces, and organizations. These trips are designed for any group that wishes to take global initiative and engage in service with a select group rather than with a larger program.

 

Independent trips are often modeled after GECR's Adult Service Program or Student Service Program with individual adjustments to meet the needs of each group.
