RITA RODRIGUEZ

Group Coordinator

Rita has lived in Orosi, Costa Rica all her life. She used to own and manage a small grocery store and has worked extensively as a cook. She was employed at the Montaña Linda hostel, where she managed reservations and coordinated volunteer groups. She has 16 years of experience working with school service groups. She now works for GECR as the primary trip coordinator. She handles accomodations, excursions, and all communication with project sites.

LEO MIRANDA VALERIN

Project Coordinator

Leo has lived in Orosi, Costa Rica all his life. He has extensive experience doing carpentry work for private contractors as well as running his own construction business. He has co-organized the Allendale Columbia School service trips for the past 7 years. He has 14 years of experience working with school groups from abroad. He now works locally as an independent contractor and organizes service projects with GECR. He is in charge of organizing the projects and coordinating the work we do on-site.

CALLIE RABE

U.S. Liason, Trip Organizer

Callie is a Spanish teacher at the Allendale Columbia School in Rochester, NY. She has organized and led the Allendale service trip to Costa Rica for 9 consecutive years. She coordinates trips for U.S. groups with GECR. She organizes fundraising and itineraries for groups prior to their departure to Costa Rica.

Project Coordinator (English speaking)

Bill has a lifetime of experience in the construction trades. He is currently a Supervisor of Maintenance and Environmental Services in Rochester. NY. He plans the work schedule and oversees the projects, as well as teaches the skills on site. He is the English speaking contractor for service trips.
